The cooperation between Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and MECEC

MECEC has a long term cooperative relationship with Chambre de Commerce Luxembourg. In November 2000, the LUX-Asia 2000 hosted by Commerce du Grand-Duche de Luxembourg was held in Luxembourg city. MECEC as one of the co-organizer led a delegation of members from Huainan City of Anhui Province and Yangzhou city of Jiangsu Province to participate the great event. On the opening day, Archduke of Luxembourg received the Executive Director of MECEC, Mr. LU Dong. The China ambassador of Luxembourg also visited the MECEC delegation. The meeting hall was divided into European and Asia parts. By the computer system all meeting time tables were scheduled. The two days business talks brought 13 business agreements for the MECEC delegation.

Reached Agreement

In September 2001, Chambre de Commerce du Grand-Duche de Luxembourg took a delegation to participate the Asia-Interprise 2001 meeting hosted by MECEC and reached 10 business agreements. 
Meeting 2001
In June 2002, Chambre de Commerce du Grand-Duche de Luxembourg also participated the Euro-China Business Meeting 2002 hosted by MECEC. To enhance the achievements gained in this event, in the following November MECEC paid a return visitation to Luxembourg .  Mr. Vesque, the head of International Trade Department, prepared abundant materials to introduce the local geographic, cultural, conomic etc. Situations and its advantages in helping the Chinese enterprises to reach for the major markets of European countries.
