In
November 2002, MECEC lead a delegation
of Qingdao enterprises to make a
visitation to Bilbao. A welcome Banquet was
held in honor of the Chinese Delegation by
Diputacion Foral de Bizkaia in the floor
hall of the Deputation Building. It is such
a great event that the local TV Station
reported it. In the Banquet, Mr.Tonxchu
Campos expressed his warm welcome to the
Qingdao visiting delegation and hoped that
this visit would not only gain harvest in
economic, but also promote the communication
in culture and custom between both
countries.
The
Business meeting was held in CEDEMI, Centro
de Desarrollo Empresarial de la Margen
Izquierda in the following day. The meeting
is carrying through in an easy mood with the
sunshine through the glass roof. The
participating 16 Spanish enterprises
specialized in: Furniture & fitment,
constructional material, mechanical
processing & machinery, food processing,
textile trade, storage & transportation,
etc. They held almost 39 face to face
business meeting with the 8 Chinese
enterprisers.
After
the meeting and lunch, the principal of
Diputacion Foral de Bizkaia, Mr. Inigo
leaded us to visit the extending Bilbao
Harbor that impressed the members by its
huge turnover and size. |
