(AEP) has stable long-term
cooperative relationship with MECEC. |

In
October 1999, MECEC delegation was invited by AEP and visited Expo
in Porto. Executive Director of MECEC met with the vice president
of AEP for
mutual agreement for further cooperation.
In
May 2000, AEP led a Portuguese Delegation to visit Guangzhou,
China. MECEC arranged a Sino-Portugal Business Meeting on sectors
of food and drink, textile and apparel. Business agreements were
signed for further cooperation. |

also participated the Asia-Interprise Macau 2001 hosted by MECEC.
In
June 2002, AEP led
a Portuguese delegation to attend the Euro-China Business Meeting
Macau 2002 that hosted by MECEC and initiated by European
Commission. The
delegation reached business agreements in industries of Textile
and apparel, metal and machinery etc. After the meeting they also
visited Shengzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing by the arrangement
of MECEC. |
