Business Meeting
Euro-China Business Meeting Macau 2002 is an effective Business Meeting with the

following six target sectors: Textile & Clothing, Metalworking & Machinery, IT &

Electronics, Construction Material, Environmental Technology, Food Processing &

Packaging. More than 100 firms, 18 national and regional chambers from 11 EU

member states, and 200 firms and delegations from 19 Chinese cities, totally 500

entrepreneurs attended this Meeting. During two days' meeting, over 1226 business

discussions were conducted, and 308 memos were signed between Chinese and

European firms.

As the European participants are from 11 European states, to facilitate their discussion

with Chinese companies, each European entrepreneur was assigned with one

interpreter , speaking English, France, German, Spanish, Portugal and Italian. Before

the meeting, all interpreters accepted training for two months and got detailed

informatin about European companies . With high qualified interpreters, the European
and Chinese entrepreneurs can communicate with each other easily.

European Union Delegation is made up of the Europead cooperate office and European Community Trade Mark Office. Their information is great help for the Chinese entrepreneurs who want enter European markets.
 
   
 

Portugal Delegation is organized by the Portuguese Business Association(AEP). The participating firms are mostly from Porto and Lisboa.  		  



   
Spanish Delegation is main organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia . Nearly 50 entrepreneurs attended this event. They are mostly the important industrial cities of spain, such as: Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia, and Canary Irlands.
 
         

Dutch Delegation is organized by FENEDEX, the second largest exporting chamber of Netherlands with 6,000 member enterprises.They came to China for the first time
 
German Delegation is headed by the German Federal Chamber of Commerce. Mostly participating firms are from Libizi. During the Meeting days,
 
and were deeply impressed by the vigor of Chinese economic activities. Mr. Frank, director of the delegation said that they will set up special Chinese program desk to strengthen the relationship between Netherlands and China.  

they discussed various cooperation issues, including the waste water disposal engineering project valued over ten millions euros.

Finland Delegation is organized by Finpro. Finland is the farthest country from China among all the participating European companies. Through this meeting, they eager to know more about China and Chinese market so as to strengthen their economic cooperation between both countries.
 
   

Greek Delegation is organized by
the Exporters' Association of North Greece. Most of the participating
firms are from Ssaloniki.  
Luxemburg Delegation is organized by the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand duchy of Luxemburg. They are our old friends for many years.
Last year, they attended our Business Meeting and signed cooperation intention valued 6 million euros. This year, they continue to find new partners in one OF the biggest markets of the world, that is China.
   

Italian Delegation is organized by the Mundipresa and Napoli Chamber of Cormmerce.
